Courtney & Darius' Love Story

Our story began long before we knew it, in the same halls of Pinkerton Academy, where we passed by each other without ever realizing we were destined to finally meet. We shared mutual friends, dined at the same local restaurants, and unknowingly lived parallel lives, separated only by time and circumstance. But fate had a different plan for us, one that would reunite us through the magic of the internet.

When we found each other, it felt as though the universe had finally brought us together. From that moment, we knew we were meant to meet, this time to begin a beautiful journey of love. Darius, with a heart full of certainty, moved into Courtney's cozy downtown Manchester apartment, where the nights became filled with laughter, late-night talks, fierce Uno and Mario Kart battles, and conversations about everything under the sun. As the days passed, it became clear that we were not just two souls crossing paths; we were two halves destined to be whole.

Together, we ventured from Manchester to Tuftonboro, and then to Tilton, building a life that was uniquely ours. The lake became our sanctuary, a place where we deepened our understanding of one another, and where our love blossomed in the quiet moments between shared smiles and whispered secrets. Our circles of friends intertwined seamlessly, becoming a part of the story we were writing together—one filled with adventure, joy, and unwavering support.

Then, in December 2023, on our first vacation to another country, Darius knelt before Courtney and asked the question that had been written in the stars long ago. Without hesitation, Courtney said yes—just as easily as they had fallen in love with one another. In that moment, surrounded by new horizons, they knew their bond was unbreakable.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. With each passing moment, we became more grateful for the love that we share, for the fact that we exist at the same time, in the same place. And now, as we look forward to forever, we know that there is no place we would rather be than right here, together, forevermore. Our love continues to flourish, as strong as ever, as we embark on the most beautiful adventure of all—life, hand in hand.
